Hello, I’m Zayn the Gentleman. I’m a Goldendoodle living the desert life in sunny Arizona. I’m learning to communicate using Canine AAC, and am an AKC Novice Trick Dog and a Canine Good Citizen.
Obedience not only makes me a well-behaved doggo, but also creates a mutually beneficial relationship between me and the people around me. I know: sit, stay, down, come, stand, leave it, heel, front and finish.
I’m an AKC Novice Trick Dog and working towards expanding the fun trick behaviors I can do. So far I know: crawl, paws up, touch, high 5, shake, kennel, hoop, get on, kiss, spin, roll over and wave.
Based upon the research of Christina Hunger and her dog Stella, Canine AAC utilizes recordable push buttons which allows me to communicate with my Mom. Right now I use 4 words: Play, Outside, Ice and Bed.
I LOVE sleeping on the bed with mom. Only my technique is to lay upside down and drape my legs over her. That’s the only way to ZZZ!
I am known for launching myself off of platforms and out of the car, thus earning me the nickname, “Superman” at doggie day care.
I have an uncanny ability to tell time and my sleeping schedule is like clockwork. I naturally rise before 6am, and am pretty much done for the night at 7:30pm.
I love and thrive on consistent training. My Mom used to be an animal trainer for dolphins, rats, fish and dogs, so she spends a lot of time with me to make training fun.

Education is not preparation
for life, education is life itself.
Learned to potty outside, sleep in my kennel, and wake my Mom every 2 – 4 hours at night. I found Mr. Lion, my favorite toy, and started taking car rides to Starbucks. I really miss my Mom when she leaves the house, but I soon realize I got a nice, comfy bed…zzz! 23 lbs at 4 months.
This is when I started my massive growth into the nugget I am today, putting on 2 – 3 pounds per week. I became a regular at doggie day care, graduated Puppy Manners class and learned how to sit, stay, lay down and come. I’m making lots new friends! 57 lbs at 6 months.
Life has been fantastic! I’m fully vaccinated and have been going on all sorts of adventures to my local park, hiking in the beautiful Arizona desert, and really getting into the groove of life. I love spending early mornings in the backyard when it’s cooler, and can’t wait to get in that pool some day! 71 lbs at 8 mo.
Life for the hooman has been turned upside down, so I have taken on the role of Chief Hugging Officer. Sometimes Mom and other friends just need a good hug. I am also a great assistant in Mom’s home office. I just bark orders at her all day long. Mom’s been teaching me fun behaviors, and I’m now an AKC Novice Trick Dog! 74 lbs at 10 mo.
